It was hard to believe that this person wasn't Sailor Moon. From the moment Usa-chan and Diana had seen her, talked to her, she felt like every aspect of Usagi despite all physical differences and personality aspects that weren't Usagi.

Neo Sailor Moon could only stare up at the new Sailor Soldier before her with widened, disbelieving eyes. All similarities aside, this was not Usagi, no matter how much this woman resembled Usagi. Their aura matched, and Neo Sailor Moon's had matched Sailor Moon's anyway.

At that exact moment, a flashback occured. It hit her right away as she saw before her a small girl, with pink hair tied up in heart-shaped odango, with a similar, familiar, yet mysterious aura about her...

"You...you're..." Neo Sailor Moon began, her eyes widening at the realization.

The Sailor Moon before her stood idle, looking down at her with that face, wondering what she wanted to say.

"Weren't you shorter...?"

The soldier's seriousness collapsed into a look of surprise, and recognition. Both soldiers - both Sailor Moon of new age - looked at each other as the dawn of realization struck on them.

Then, a pout crossed Usa-chan's face. "But you were shorter than me!" she scowled. "You're supposed to be the new Sailor Chibi Moon!"

At that moment, a wide smile broke out as innocent laughter escaped Chibi-Chibi's lips. She helped Neo Sailor Moon up. "Things don't always work out like they're supposed to, Chibi-Usa," taunted the now older - or taller - woman, and she stuck out her tongue playfully just to add more to insult.

Even though Usa-chan's pout deepened, she couldn't help but feel more comfortable around the familiar presence that reminded her more of the woman that was truly Sailor Moon and Usagi.

Obligatory Chibi-Chibi Grows Up picture of Sailor Chibi Chibi (Moon). The design I came up with for my Neo Sailor Moon concept/fanidea, beta-name Sailor Cosmic Moon/Cosmic Sailor Moon. Inspiration for the design was drawn from Sailor Moon/Usagi herself and Sailor Cosmos (if all of you know how the manga went, then you will understand the reasons for the references).

This took me FOREVER because I started the lineart and coloured it in flat, but then I stopped and then after a few months, started recolouring. Took two days duration with a certain brush-set for shading sort of like the manga, but then it looked like crap. So I just gave up and made everything pretty and it turned out better in the end.
